CEID Family Camp is an opportunity for families with deaf, hard of hearing, or KODA (Kid Of Deaf Adults) children from birth through five years old to experience the outdoors together. It's a one-day recreational camp with the primary goal of providing socialization opportunities for families. An overnight option is available for families who wish to camp on Saturday night.
Deaf, hard of hearing, and KODA (hearing children with deaf parents) children ages 0-5 and their families. Parents, siblings of any age, and extended family members are all welcome and encouraged to attend. This event is open to children who attend CEID, other early intervention programs in the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond, other elementary or preschools, or no school program at all. Parents MUST attend with their children and are responsible for supervising their children at all times.
A full day of family fun in the outdoors! The schedule includes organized activities, lunch and dinner, and free time to explore the park and play at the beach. Activities will be led by credentialed Teachers of the Deaf and include art, language, motor, and social activities.
